Metabolic Rate Testing

Resting Metabolic Rate Testing is used to accurately measure how many calories you burn at rest. As you may already know, the key to successful weight loss is to burn more calories than you eat. One of the most fundamental and difficult questions is, how many calories do I burn.

According to research, mathematical equations that estimate metabolism are prone to error. In fact, they can be off by as much as 500 calories a day! With this quick and painless test you can know exactly how many calories you burn.

The Diet Director uses REEVU- An FDA approved hospital grade medical device to measure resting energy expenditure. REEVU is considered the gold standard in metabolic rate testing and is used in hospitals throughout the country.

Fee: $65.00**

**You may be eligible for insurance reimbursement to have this test performed. Please contact The Diet Director to find out more.
